Treating A Bad Sprain

My son went to a friend’s birthday party on Feb 13th, 2013 at about 8 PM, there was a  large sheet of ice that a resident failed to remove on their walk way-even though my son had on boots he slipped and badly sprained his foot and ankle. Immediately, I prayed to G-O-D H-A-S-H-E-M in Y-E-S-H-U-A’s name or J-E-S-U-S’s name and I told my son you need to apply an ice pack ;but, he preferred  me putting snow in a plastic bag.  An ice pack should be on the injured area no more than 15-20 minutes at a time but, the snow, which was softer and milder, he was able to leave on longer 30-40 minutes  ;if we don’t have snow- finely chopped ice in our Kitchen Aid Blender would be the same. I kept the snow in the plastic bag in the bottom side door compartment in my freezer. Also I told him to soak his foot and ankle in warm water (in between ice treatments) and Epsom Salts in my Foot Massage Machine(not turned on-just to soak in) and he did. I brought my son his meals and whatever he needed; my son told me he felt very loved and very cared for by me. But, I told him to exercise his badly sprained foot and ankle, while wearing an ankle support wrap, as much as he could tolerate by flexing his leg; he did and now his foot and his ankle are almost healed today , Feb 17th, 2013. If not, I would have advised him to go to his doctor.

Please, make sure that your kids and you have boots that have great trends on the heels because this winter is much harsher than usual. I hope that all people and your kids have good health and a lot of  love and happiness.
